Cookies and browser storage.

01In short

Audoryn sets no cookies of its own, and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts are served from Audoryn itself.

The workspace keeps a few values in your browser's storage so that it works: your sign-in, a pending invitation, live updates. These are necessary and are always on.

Two values only remember display choices, your theme and the sidebar. They are kept only if you allow preferences.

02Necessary

Needed for Audoryn to work. They cannot be turned off, and they are never used to track you.

• audoryn.access_token: Keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out. Workspace; until removed.
• audoryn.cookie_consent: Remembers your choice on this page, so you are not asked again. Website and workspace; until removed.
• audoryn.github.verifier: Completes a sign-in with GitHub securely. Workspace; until the tab closes.
• audoryn.github.setup: Completes connecting the GitHub app. Workspace; until the tab closes.
• audoryn.github.installation: Completes connecting the GitHub app. Workspace; until the tab closes.
• audoryn.pending_invitation: Holds an invitation you opened before signing in. Workspace; until the tab closes.
• audoryn.workspace.apiVersion: Which version of the Audoryn API the app talks to. Workspace; until removed.
• audoryn.realtime.cursor.…: Lets live updates resume where they stopped, one per workspace. Workspace; until removed.
• audoryn.ws.history: The back and forward menu for pages you visited in this tab. Workspace; until the tab closes.
• audoryn.email-banner.hidden: Keeps a dismissed email reminder hidden for this tab. Workspace; until the tab closes.
• audoryn.preview.latency: A setting of the sample workspace, which holds no real data. Sample workspace only; until the tab closes.

03Preferences

Optional. If you do not allow them, your choices still apply until you close the page, and nothing is stored. Turning them off removes the stored values.

• audoryn.workspace.theme: Your light or dark theme. Workspace; until removed.
• audoryn.sidebar.collapsed: Whether the sidebar is open or closed. Workspace; until removed.

04Payment and sign-in providers

These load only when you start a payment or a sign-in with them.

• Paddle: when you open a checkout in a currency other than naira, Paddle's checkout loads and may set cookies it needs to take the payment, under Paddle's own policies.
• Paystack: a naira checkout opens on Paystack's own site, under its policies.
• GitHub: signing in with GitHub happens on GitHub's site, under its policies.

05Your choice

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of this website, or in the workspace's account menu. You can also clear site data in your browser settings; you will then be asked again.

If Audoryn ever adds an optional tool such as analytics, it will be off until you allow it, and you will be asked again.
